Thanks to the Moss Hall Community

We are students who currently study in The Compton Sixth Form.

A group of us are going to Ghana next year with the organisation named African Adventures and we are going to visit a small village in Ghana called Woe where we will be helping the local schools by teaching lessons there for a week and doing building work too. By next July, we each have to raise almost £2000 each to cover the cost of the trip.

As students who previously attended Moss Hall, we gained permission to run a stall in the Winter Fair. If you came, you probably saw the stall with the brightly decorated cakes, brownies and cookies. Yup, that was us running the stall! They tasted delicious didn’t they? We raised a humungous total of £535 which we split into three for each of us (almost £180 each)! We also donated some money to Moss Hall and we hope to see you again next year if we get another chance to run a cake stall.

Thank you to Moss Hall – the governors, MHSA and Mrs Flinn- who gave us permission to run the stall at the Winter Fair.
