Music has long been a central part of the curriculum at Moss Hall Juniors and we endeavour to offer a wide range of opportunities for children of all abilities and interests.
Each child has an hour-long curriculum lesson with a specialist teacher once a week. In addition to this, there is a forty-five-minute singing assembly and recorder lessons for all. We welcome a superb team of peripatetic teachers to our school from Barnet Education Arts Trust who teach a wide range of instruments.
There are many extra-curricular activities on offer including cello group, string group, steel pans, orchestra, recorder club, rock band and two choirs. At Moss Hall, we seize opportunities to perform to parents and the wider community and go on regular trips to see live concerts.
In short, at Moss Hall we believe that all children are entitled to quality music education and the benefits will enhance their development right across the curriculum and into their futures.
